About Me.
Katrina Anderson, LPC-IT
When my first daughter was born, I suffered from severe postpartum depression and initially struggled to find the help I needed. From this, grew a passion for mental health education and awareness and a deep desire to decrease the negative stigma. About a decade later, I was privileged to turn my passion into a new career in which I am able to pay forward the care and support I received when I needed it most.

While every story is unique, I bring a level of empathy for your struggles to my practice. I want to help you better understand your mental health while providing tools YOU can use to improve your quality of life. I also have a passion for helping clients better understand the the struggle of their loved ones to hopefully be better equipped to support them while also maintaining a healthy level of self-care.

My areas of focus include perinatal/general anxiety and depression, ADHD in all ages, life transitions, career and school support. I also enjoy working with kids as young as 4 and incorporate play and art therapy into my practice when appropriate.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. I enjoy reading, crafts, taking walks, swimming, and reality TV. I also love taking in other sports, especially NFL football and college basketball.

I am a LGBTQ+ affirming counselor. While I don't claim to be an expert of any kind, all are welcome in my practice. Please come as you are and I will do my best to meet your needs.
